This is beautiful. Purple is my favourite colour but I would never think to use purple and yellow together 🙂

As I mentioned before, we have had some unseasonably warm days this year so the spring plants are very confused.  Flowers are blooming early so why not take advantage.  While my parents are out of town, I stopped by their house to see if there were any blooms to be snipped from the garden.  Just enough to make this stunning arrangement of irises, lilacs and freesias.  I love the striking color combination and it makes me smile.

A bit about me... I am a huge love of everything handmade. I am a Fibromyalgia Fighter which means some days are more difficult than others but I refuse to give in, just have to take things more slowly on the bad days. I love my handcrafting business (www.cardsandcandlesforalloccasions.co.uk) as it allows me to fulfill my love of crafting while creating unique designs of greetings cards, keepsake cards and gifts. We have our website, Etsy shop and also enjoy attending craft fairs both to browse and when having our own stall. I used to love tap dancing and majorettes but I'm too paranoid about my appearance for that now, though I really admire those who put on these shows. I love watching things like Riverdance and Michael Flately. What are my interests and hobbies? All sorts of crafting... card making, crochet, latch-hook, reading, drawing, acrylic painting, watercolour painting, writing poetry and have been known to try my hand at mosaicing. I love going out or staying in and generally spending time with family and friends. Anything to do with animals. Photography. Listening to music. Chilling in a hot bubbly bath. Watching good films. Favourite Music: I like loads of different sorts of music so to choose a favourite would be really difficult. Our cd collection is soooo varied... it includes Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Boyzone, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Elvis Presley, Take That, Aerosmith and the Beatles to name a few. The music I listen to depends on my mood... if we're in the car then it tends to be either dance or RnB - something with a decent beat. But if we're chilling at home then it has to be something with the feel good factor, something upbeat and happy or when I feel low it tends to be songs with sentimental value, something with very meaningful lyrics. Favourite TV Programmes: I don't tend to watch a lot of television but when I do it's usually either spiritual shows such as Most Haunted or Colin Fry or car/bike shows like American Hot Rod, Orange County Choppers, Pimp My Ride or something like that. Though I do like watching Dog The Bounty Hunter!! Favourite Films: I have a few films that I always tend to watch when I'm feeling low which are Dirty Dancy, Beaches, Grease, Pooh's Heffalump Movie, Top Gun or Mamma Mia. Other than that I'm pretty open to watching most sorts of film other than Sci-fi or really gorey horror movies... I'm more of a chick-flick, romcom, comedy, action or cars (love fast and furious!!) kinda film girl!! Favourite Books: I enjoy reading, and when I'm in the right frame of mind can easily finish a book in a couple of days... I love books with the "intrigue" factor, the sort of story where you just can't put it down and have to keep reading to find out what happens next. I also enjoy autobiographies or biographies and true stories.
