Homeward Bound

Well, it’s been a while since we posted a blog and what a busy few weeks it has been… the month of September has been really hectic, non-stop and lots of fun!!

There has been lots happening over the last few weeks so I’ll give you a quick run down here and there will no doubt be a couple of follow up posts with more detail soon.

We spent ten days in Scotland – a much needed holiday, catching up with friends and family. Spending some long overdue quality time with loved ones and generally relaxing, enjoying being back home in the East Kilbride area and recharging the batteries.

During our trip to Scotland our days out included Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow, Braehead Shopping Centre, visiting friends and family, shopping and lunch in East Kilbride shopping centre, a trip to Greenock and Largs, Loch Lomond and Luss, a visit to Strathclyde Park then Kingsgate Retail Park and lots and lots of relaxing. Just what was needed.

I think all the relaxation, clothes shopping and different scenery must have given me some sort of brain wave as I decided to go for a complete new look and had all of my hair chopped off, ditched the casual clothes (tracky bottoms, etc) and here’s the result… I love my new hair cut and it’s such low maintenance, it makes getting ready in the mornings much quicker!!

While in Scotland I also found a fab little craft shop… well it was described to me as a “little craft shop” but it’s huge, has a great selection and I could easily have spent a fortune. The craft shop is situated within Cardwell Garden Centre on the road between Greenock and Largs – definitely worth a visit đŸ˜€

After lots of visiting, shopping and lunching out it was time to pack the bags, load the car and head back home to Stoke on Trent, of course before we left East Kilbride I went to the shop to get myself armed with all of the essentials!!

Since coming home, we have been really busy with orders, sorting paperwork and working on new stock ideas. We have been busy booking our stall space at a couple of Christmas events, working on Christmas greetings cards, have lots of ideas in the pipeline and new materials ordered so no dout other ideas will follow. So many creative ideas and not enough hours in the day!!

We’ll post photographs of some of our new work soon… just as soon as I get a chance to take photographs, upload and edit them and then it will all be added to our website, blog and Facebook page.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying this weeks gorgeous weather!!

Take care and we’ll chat soon,

xxx Love Laura and Gordon xxx
