It’s a shirt and tie!!

I’ve spent many a night lying awake trying to come up with some new and fun designs for cards, something different, something that will grab people’s attention… specifically cards for those men in our lives as we all know how difficult it can be to find a nice masculine card, so I can up with this:

It’s a relatively simple idea to do… the “body” of the shirt is the front of the card with the collar cut from the same cardstock (though I have made a couple of alternatives using patterned papers), then cut your tie from patterned paper to the size/width you want, remember the knot of your tie will go the opposite way to the rest, then lastly I cut a small piece of card to act as a tie pin and applied a ‘grandad’ peeloff to personalise. Our gold sentiment was from a preprinted sheet of Christmas sentiments and I thought the square looked perfect as a shirt pocket.

This card design can be made in any colour scheme and for any occasion. What do you think?
